It is hard to believe that this Father’s Day our family will be celebrating with two babies! My daughter is two years old and my son was just born a few days ago. We weren’t expecting our little bundle of joy this early, but so happy we will be able to celebrate with him!
This year, I decided to give my husband his Father’s Day gift early. After I took my daughter to choose a card for her daddy, she told him all about it. It was hard not to laugh as she told her daddy about the monster card she picked out and how I helped her put her hand print on it. After that, I figured it was time to open his gift!
I wanted to surprise my husband with a unique gift this Father’s Day. After searching and searching for the best gifts for men, I came across Jord watches. I knew it would be perfect for him! The details on their wood watch collections are stunning! Definitely a one-of-a-kind watch! They offer a variety of styles, for men and women.
My husband absolutely loved the Dover
series in zebrawood & dark sandalwood. He liked it’s uniqueness, the color, the details of the watch, it is unlike any other watch. Since wearing it, he’s received numerous compliments.
I teamed up with JORD
to give one of my lucky readers a $75 credit to JORD Wood Watches!

I have teamed up with PinkBlush Maternity and couldn’t be more excited! They have countless options for maternity dresses, that are all so gorgeous. I fell in love with this floral maxi dress. I can safely say, that even at almost 37 weeks pregnant, this dress is still extremely comfortable. Perfect to accommodate any size bump. It fits great and I love the floral details. I also like the fact that it’ll be perfect for nursing once baby is here.
PinkBlush also offers a selection of non-maternity clothing and accessories.
I have also partnered up with PinkBlush to give one of my lucky reader’s a $75 gift card to their amazing store!

Just hit week 36! Only a few weeks shy from meeting our baby boy. It’s hard to imagine that almost 3 years ago my hospital bag was filled with pink, purple, bows, and tutus. Now, all I see in it is blue and green! I keep hearing how different it will be with a boy and I honestly couldn’t be any more excited to experience it first hand. The truth is, I’ve had my hospital bag packed since I was 30 weeks pregnant! Just a tad bit early.
This time, I packed lighter than the first time around. I know what my essentials are and what I can do without. Here is a sneak peak of my hospital bag.
- shower sandals
- nursing bra/nursing camis
- comfy clothes
- toiletry items and makeup
- lip balm
- belly wrap/bandit
- change of clothes
- receiving blanket
- nursing pillow
- going home outfit
- burp cloths
- baby book (visitors can sign and you can get baby’s foot/handprint)
- cars seat
- phone + pharger
- camera + charger
- gift for big sister from baby
As far as the necessities post-birth (diapers, pads, mesh undies, and nursing pads) our hospital provides all of that so less to worry about when it comes to packing.
Next time I post we’ll be a family of 4! I cannot wait to hold my little bundle of joy.
What did all my fellow mamas pack in your hospital bag?
